Aikido Dojo Scotland is a community website for the Iwama Aikido club established by Stephen Colville, 5th Dan. The main dojo is based in Bathgate with other dojos throughout Scotland.

Stephen Colville, 5th Dan
Stephen was a student of Morihiro Saito Sensei and he has had a very long tradition with the Iwama style of Aikido. Stephen invites people of all fitness and ages to discover the art form of Aikido, whether it be for fitness, fun, to study or just to meet new people. Stephen has extensive experience with providing seminars and is available to teach seminars throughout the UK and abroad.
The Club
The club offers an excellent avenue into beginning to study the art form. Classes include practising a range of skills including unarmed techniques and weapons. The emphasis in Aikido is based on working with partners and not competing against them which in no way defeats the effectiveness of the techniques.
